The reverb on my NV400 quit working. It started with a hum that increased in volume until it was very loud then quit. Now it was completely dead. Not having much electronic talent, I replaced the reverb tank with a MOD replacement. It still doesn't work, but hums when I try to use it. I'm guessing now that it is a problem inside the amp. Any thoughts?

Make sure the connection is clean and corrosion free on both ends.

I had the same problem. Bought a new reverb cable harness from Ken Fox. Worked perfect after snapping it in. No soldering necessary. foxvintageamps.com
