I have seen and heard this guitar. It is in great shape as Fred stated and it has an excellent tone. Fred is a honest person to deal with.

Thanks for the kind words Morton.. This guitar does have that great Mullen tone and I would certainly keep it if I hadn't recently purchased a beautiful G2..

By the way, there are 6 knee-levers.

Hey Lee! I wondered what that 'shorty' lever was for, as there was no rod or bellcrank attached when I bought it..
I just left it there and listed 5 levers on the sale.
Thanks for the info!!

Is this a half pad as I would prefer no pads but a Mullen is a Mullen. How heavy? Wheels on case? Emmons or day setup?

The pad is removable, Weighs 59 lbs. in the case, which is the original from Mullen, no wheels. Emmons pedals..

I’m interested what model is it again? Does it need or have compensaters or a way to add it on the 12string?

Marty, it's a pre Royal Precision, which many claim were the best sounding until the G-2.. It doesn't have or need compensators.

Marty, the vertical knee is connected and lowers string 5, B to Bb. You can still get any parts for this guitar from Mullen. The 6th knee lever and cross shaft are installed, but will need bellcranks and pull rods to use.

This guitar is in great shape and sounds like a Mullen should. (Great! ) It’s a pretty steel, and going to make someone very happy. I know Fred Thomson personally. He takes very good care of his music equipment and is a down right great guy.

Dwight, thank you for your kind words and friendship! You are one special and talented guy yourself and probably the reason I bought a G2 after hearing you play yours! If my other Zum S-12 wasn't in Maine, I'd probably sell that instead of this Mullen, because this one sounds and plays that good!
At 90 years old, I don't need 4 steels.. Rolling Eyes
