Can anyone tell me how to put music clip from the Forum on my android phone, as the ring tone?

In the explanation below, substitute "sound clip" for "voice memo." Instead of speaking a voice memo, you'll record a snippet of the music. (I think. I can barely use my OWN phone!)
"Navigate to settings and tap on “sounds and vibrationâ€. Tap on the ringtone, at bottom tap on “add from phone†Now move to folders icon and select “voice recorder†then select your voice memo & tap on done. Your voice recording as a ringtone is set now."
