Model is a Dual Professional. Most players I know just call them Dual Pro.
Yes, early edition. Probably well worth the price in today's market provided both pickups work and the tuners are functional as Will states. Horseshoes are pretty well regarded and valued too.
Maybe the hardware is just paint and can be cleaned off.
For the money, provided all works properly, I could probably overlook those mods myself. |

If it's Trap or pre Trap, shouldn't it have the Roman numeral fretbooards? _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Pre-trap, yes, I would expect Roman numerals. Trap, no. However while I've only ever seen the Roman numerals on the pre-traps and the board in the picture on the traps, Fender's history of mixing/matching parts during model transitions makes any combination of parts possible.
Wish we could ask Jody. |

I would go see it at that price, paint comes off of plating pretty easily, it will most likely need other work too being from '48 or 9 but it's a reasonable price for a project. It kinda looks like a Rickenbacker pickup on the inside neck, this thing could be a real cool player. |
