The estenders b0b sells are the nicest/most functional by far, but if you need an increment that's not an inch or 2", Mcmaster and grainger sell spacer/ long/coupling nuts or Hex Standoffs, they have lots of names. Last year in a pinch (when shipping times were extra long) i got some female/female ones from Home Depot, cut off a bolt and crazy glued it in.
