Rick,
Suggest you talk with Darvin Willhoite who is a long time MSA Guru and Forum member. He’s a wealth of knowledge and fine gentleman to boot. Good luck…Carl

Search for date built information. Get on MSA'S website, Send an E-mail directed to David Wright and/or Kyle Bennett. They have all of Mr. Anderson's records on MSA build dates. They have been great at build date information for old MSA Guitars.

If all you need are new tuning nuts, PSG Parts has them. All you need to do is unscrew the old ones, and screw on the new ones. I use my tuning wrench for doing this. PSG ships promptly, and their prices are reasonable. The link to for the tuning nuts is https://www.psgparts.com/Tuning-Nuts_c17.htm

Thanks for turning me on to this resource.
Alas, I fear the guitar will require more work than just tuning nuts.
Oh, well that's a good place to start!
