Hi All

I posted about this a few months ago and it seemingly fixed itself but now I'm back to having issues. My RKL seems to be completely disconnected, not sure how it happened or why, but I've been investigating the underneath and coming up empty. Tried to replace a stripped screw, and theres a placeholder there right now until I find the right one (also if ya'll know the specifics of screw sizes on these things I'd be forever grateful, I've tried 4 different types).

Attached some photos here, glad to share more, or more specific. Any advice on this without having to take it someone would be great. I'm in NYC and without a car so getting to a repair is tough.

re: the correct screw, contact Michael Yahl. I'm sure he can send you one.

That screw needs to line up with a hole in the shaft and go clear thru. Does it?

yeah I think thats probably the issue. Just emailed him to try and get the correct screws so I can stop bugging my local hardware store guy Smile

Thanks for the tip - hopefully this will solve it.

Hey John,
Sounds like the screw that holds the KL has loosened up. Check it where it connects to the crossrod.
Call Billy Knowles at Emmons East @ 910-296-7428. He can probably tell ya what ya need to do, specially w/some pix. Great guy. Leave a message if he doesnt answer. He will call ya back.
These beasts need underneath tightening periodically.
All the best, Pat
