I'd appreciate your thoughts one this one. I set myself the challenge of trying to make Steel Guitar Rag work in B11th tuning. I've changed it multiple times over a few days so this one is just the latest version in progress. B11th is not usually the first tuning you'd think of for this tune. Bar #1 is the easier way to play the opening lick but a little stilted. Bar #8 is the flowing but difficult way. Midi audio for now. What do you think?

Cool, first time messing with this tuning and i like it. Its one i can use on my C6 guitar, im still working my way around these types of tunings, im a blues based player thats been in Major tunings most of my life so these dont fall under the bar naturally for me but I'm making headway. Thanks for your help

Boy, all those " Sand" riffs are right there huh? Smile
I think this guitar will stay in this tuning, now one of my others can be the C6 one.

There's another recent B11th thread with more info on this tuning. Doing SGR on it is a bit like shoving a square peg through a round hole but it was interesting to mess around with.

7/6/21 - uploaded the rest of the tune and new audio file. Not sure I've got the total number of bars right but it's all just an experiment in progress.

There are a lot of jumps in this tuning, but I like the arrangement. The intervals is close to the tuning I use on my Weissy
