Would like some feedback on players who have used a Goodrich H-120 and a Goodrich L-120, and which one they liked better. Thanks! |

Both pedals perform the same. One's slightly higher, the H,than the other. Consider where you want your right knee to be. For one thing, you don't want it hitting the bottom of your steel. Also the knee levers are easier to work with your knee down closer to the ground. Remember, you can always adjust your steels height also. If you are of average height, I'm sure you will like either pedal. I own both and they both do the job just fine. I actually use an Omni lowboy, but I also have an L 120. The Standard 120 puts my knee too high up on the RKR lever and I can't get it fully engaged. That 3/4 inch makes a big difference for me. |

There is 1/2" difference in the nose height when the volume pedal is off.
3-1/4 for L120 and 4-1/2 for H120.
That being said, there is also a difference in the amount of travel you can get out of the volume pot.
The L120 does not travel as far, thus not as much volume in full on as the H120. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. I have an H model and also had an L model. At 5' 8" the H fits me better.
I also have a Telonics and its set for the higher position. |
