Selling for a friend. A beautiful Sho Bud Pro II 8X5. This guitar was setup by Tyler Hall and plays great. Emmons setup on both necks. The vertical lever lowers the 3rd string G# to G (for some Mooney licks). Es are on the left. RKL raises strings 1 and 2 and lowers the 6th string. RKR lowers the 2nd string half/whole and string 9 a half. The only lever currently hooked up to the C6th neck is RKL and is lowering the third string C to a B. The guitar is super clean. Serial number 13000. $2300 plus shipping. The case is in great shape and has heavy duty wheels that work very well. Located in Nashville.

What I sent to Pat; so he should get it Leo.

February 1978.
Well it does look like a transition Pro-II Custom...meaning it was built 1978 right when the new SuperPro mechanism was coming out....so there is a mixture of old and new parts on there.
Still Gumby headstocks...yay...but later model hex cross shafts and pullers; triple raise/double lower....so I'm sure things were a little moved around when vertical was added and can't really see...if those are curved knees...then those knee mount brackets had to be changed.....To me; I like this better than "ALL ORIGINAL" from 1978. Might be a great player....and won't have the cabinet drop that the new body/keyhead and mech had on that first year of superpro.
Oh and OMG; those are the late Jerry Wallace TrueTones in there...I helped Jerry design a trutone that would be the perfect replacement for original and sound exactly like a shobud....and those are them(RIP Jerry..miss you); and I looked again just now...and still original mid70's narrow slick pedals and those curved knees look special made for those laterbrackets...waaaaay cool....and white fretboards.....OMG
Ricky
