I made this caddy to put on the cabinet next to where my steel is setup. It keeps the bars from rolling around or falling off of my shelf. Very easy to make if you have a piece of scrap 2x4 about 5" long, and a drill press. The edges were rounded off using a stationary belt sander and some hand held sand paper. I put a round piece of felt in the bottom of the holes too.

I've got my main BJS bar, 2 different weights of Dunlop bars, and a cheap 5/8th in bar. This caddy holds them and two tuning wrenches.

For this one, I bought a 3" long leg attachment bracket from the forum store, and used a 1 1/2" x 2" x 3" piece of wood from a 2x4, with a 2" x 1" hole drilled in it.

I kept the cost down by using some scrap wood, or else this project would have probably cost around $100 for a piece of pine 2x4. Very Happy Laughing

The dead space on the pad of DS10 guitars has a lot of possibilities to for bar holders. Here is a picture of an old MSA I used to play. I had a place for my steel or do-bro bar while playing with the other. Mdae for an quick easy change of bars too.

Since the MSA had a 12 key head on a S10 guitar there was room for picks too.
