The previous owner of my Emmons D-12 was short and cut off the front legs. I put a 2 inch lift kit on it, but i need to raise it another 3/4 inch, or so. Anyone have a source for chrome tubing 2 3/4 - 3 inches? Or a better solution? As always...thanks...

You can get aluminum tubing from a variety of sources and polish it if you want.

I used regular conduit from Home Depot and Mothers polish. Didn't look like chrome, but was shiny enough.

PVC pipe works fine, is easy to work with, and is available in white or black. The right size fits great, actually better than the chromed tubing I’ve used.

If you heat pvc, it will stretch then fit over the legs and cool ***very tightly***. It is also very very strong in short lengths. Also pvc conduit may fit and is a very neutral gray.

I go to metalSupermarkets.com or onlineMetals.com, order online and pick up locally, they cut cleanly but a little dremeling or bench grinding may be in order depending on if you want nice rolled edges.

I've used Ken's plastic pipe more than once. I then cover it with chrome looking tape from the dollar store.💡 🌵

Put a want ad over on the "Want to buy" section here on the forum, and someone may have a decent set of standard legs to sell.
