I have seen this discussed before, but I still need answers. I bought a Mullen G2. It is a dream guitar. I only have one problem with it. It is 30.5 inches straight
Up from the floor to the strings on the E neck. My other guitar is 29.5. This don't sound like much, but it causes me to hit the wrong strings. I could shorten the legs 1 inch, and I could cut 1 inch off the pedal rods. My question are these rods threaded with a dye? How hard are these rods to thread? What size thread?

They are threaded with a die. The thread is 10-32 and they are stainless steel, which is very tough. This is something we could do for you if you like. Just shoot us an email at sales@mullenguitars.com if you need our help.

Larry, take Mikes advise and send to Mullen to be cut and rethreaded. You won’t be sorry.

I completely can and will attest to that. Mullen is a great company who sincerely cares about its customers and stands by their product. They are the absolute best.

Thanks Mike. Is this standard height for Mullen G2 or was this ordered 1 inch high? I bought it used.

Larry,
my guitars are 1” under standard height also. I cut the legs and cut and rethreaded the rods on one of my guitars and I am not a guy with a lot of mechanical confidence. It’s not a complex job. I think if I can do it about anybody can!
