I have seen this discussed before, but I still need answers. I bought a Mullen G2. It is a dream guitar. I only have one problem with it. It is 30.5 inches straight
Up from the floor to the strings on the E neck. My other guitar is 29.5. This don't sound like much, but it causes me to hit the wrong strings. I could shorten the legs 1 inch, and I could cut 1 inch off the pedal rods. My question are these rods threaded with a dye? How hard are these rods to thread? What size thread? _________________ MSA Classic,Rustler Eldorado,Nashville 112, Session 500, Gretch, Ovation. |

They are threaded with a die. The thread is 10-32 and they are stainless steel, which is very tough. This is something we could do for you if you like. Just shoot us an email at sales@mullenguitars.com if you need our help. _________________ Mike Mantey

Larry, take Mikes advise and send to Mullen to be cut and rethreaded. You won’t be sorry. _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

Thanks Mike. Is this standard height for Mullen G2 or was this ordered 1 inch high? I bought it used. _________________ MSA Classic,Rustler Eldorado,Nashville 112, Session 500, Gretch, Ovation. |

Larry,
my guitars are 1” under standard height also. I cut the legs and cut and rethreaded the rods on one of my guitars and I am not a guy with a lot of mechanical confidence. It’s not a complex job. I think if I can do it about anybody can! _________________ Bill Cunningham
