Hi Tommy, I do have a few questions.
First, (hopefully it's an Emmons setup) can you tell me the copedent on the guitar?
Does it stay in tune well?
I've never owned a push-pull, what is the difference between that and all pull? Are there any real concerns I should have at all?
How are the mechanics, is there much wear? I see it appears to have been converted from a D10, if so perhaps it's been all gone over and rebuilt if that was required? I bought a Dekley D10 years back from a forum member, tone was excellent, however a few of the levers and stops were pretty worn, and would have required a rebuild, which I declined and ended up selling it for a slight loss.
How is the sustain / tone above the 12th fret?
If this all looks good, I am very interested.
Thanks, Dave _________________ Psalm 33:2 Maybe they did have steels back then... |

Tommy does excellent work on steels. I’d think anything that comes out of his shop is in top condition and has no issues.
There are MANY posts on here about how push-pulls work. If you use SEARCH you’ll find a wealth of info. However, LeGrandes are all pull but still have the Emmons “vibeâ€. _________________ KEVIN MAUL: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Donner, Evans, Excel, Fender, Fluger, GFI, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |

Plus 1 for Tommy. His set up’s are very precise and he pays attention to detail. Also the above guiatar is an all pull not a push pull. _________________ JCH D10, 71 D10 P/p fat back, Telonics TCA 500C--12-,Fender JBL Twin, Josh Swift signature. |

Thanks K Maul & Bill, I sort of figured that out after looking at a picture of a pp undercarriage. Night and day difference, I doubt I'd want all that extra stuff under there, confusing enough as it is! _________________ Psalm 33:2 Maybe they did have steels back then... |
