I am looking to sell or trade my Jackson Maverick HD. It's a great player and I've had it just over a year. It's never been gigged and only set up for practice in my bedroom. It sounds and plays great. Stays in tune well and would make a fine first steel for someone, or something light to gig around with. It has a nice carpeted case with a leather leg bag. The only reason I'm looking to sell is for money toward a good D-10. I bought directly from the factory and am the only owner. Smoke free home. I'd like to get $1800 or a good trade offer plus some cash on my end, but am willing to negotiate on price. They start at $2400 new, and this guitar is as close to factory new that you can get from a private sale. Don't be afraid to offer up a trade or a money offer. The worst I can say is no. Thanks for looking!

Would you be interested in a Marlen D-10 8 & 5 built in 1980? |

This is just an awesome machine, Ricky, and the tone is top of the line! If I had the money outright for a D-10, I'd never sell this one. I understand that Mr. Yahl is one of the most respected if not the most respected in the business with machining new and repro parts. I can definitely see why! |

Yes indeed he is Michael. He is all and only one I use for EVERYTHING Sho~bud; as I'm still restoring/refurbishing at least 25 a year; and Mr. Yahl always comes through with the most outstanding stuff far beyond all my machinists before him(Duane marrs; John coop; James Moorehead and may all of them RIP _________________ Ricky Davis

Ricky,
Michael Yahl is a professional machinist, and his parts are A1, I agree. Gotta say, I stumbled across a Super Pro with Coop fingers on the E9th neck, and the tone difference from the stock changer is quite noticeable. I think all the machinists that you mentioned did some outstanding work as well, and for some, it wasn’t there life career.
Thanks for being the Sho~Bud guru, its nice to have an expert around!
