Looks like something my wife might have mixed up in a bunch of her spinning wheels and fibre processing machines. Thanks Doug. |

Spotted on Facebook. Photo by Abe Levy. It appears to be an acoustic steel guitar. Either that or a medieval torture device!

Just to be clear, would the torture be for the person who has to play it, or the person who has to listen to it being played? Just askin'... _________________ www.JimCohen.com

According to "Yelp!", if you straddle it with your shorts on, the Fender Steer-Maker has quite a plaintive sound. |

Really does look like a combination of a concert harp, a lap steel, and some kind of RoyCrofters contraption. A lot of big time guitar makers have gone towards the more "harp like" vertical load on the soundboard, which this one certainly has. Could be quite great.

Unless that contraption can fold up in some sane manner, it's not particularly gig friendly. _________________ Cavalier Pickups |

Kidding aside, wonder what it sounds like. Note it has a harp like sound chamber. |
