Affordable 8-String Non-Pedal

Have my Emmons off with Lynn Stafford getting ran through with a fine-toothed comb, in the meantime, I was kinda hoping to pick up a basic affordable 8 string non-pedal steel to start working on some C6. Not looking for anything fancy and seriously considering the $225 ash bodied LX with legs and bag off of Reverb if I can't find another option. What's out there?
