10-string pick-up by Bill Lawrence. I think this is the 805 model. $185.00, shipping and pay pal fees included to lower 48

The original Bill Lawrence 805 had black casing and the 705 had Chrome casing.

I guess this is the 705 model. I wasn't sure and I don't have any means of testing it. Thanks Ricky!

All original 605, 705, and 805 pickups look identical. The only way to know the difference if there is no label is with an ohm meter.

Like David says, if there's no label, or sometimes the model number is carved in the bottom plate, otherwise you'll have to measure the DC Resistance [ohms] with an ohm meter.

The first number of the x05 series indicated different impedances and resistances running from lowest to the highest. lower numbers tend to be brighter while higher numbers tend to be mellower.

705 - approximately 18K-21K Ohms, 15H inductance
805 - approximately 26K Ohms, 21H inductance
605 - approximately 15K Ohms, 11H inductance
505 - approximately 12K Ohms, 7.5H inductance

Remove the mounting plate and see if it’s labeled on the pickup itself. If not, the only way to know is an ohm meter.

Well, I’m not sure what it is, but I do know that it is an original BL pick-up with the chrome cover. I do not have an ohm meter to check it. I guess I will just put it in the closet because it doesn’t eat and it doesn’t cost me any money to just put it away. Thanks for all the replies.

If, in the future, you should decide to measure it you can pick up a multimeter for cheap at your local Harbor Freight for $5 or $6 bucks. You'll find other uses for it too probably.
