Wow, totally missed the announcement. That show is less than 15 miles away. I certainly would have been there. Gene's has regular country music with some great steel guitar players. Have to pay more attention to the website.

Drums and Bass are louder than anything else......That's stupid to have a sound like that where you can't hear a GREAT written song and the feeling it is about and the colorful feeling of the instruments like the "Defining Instrument in country music" THE STEEL GUITAR. (so turn the stupid crap down; like drums; bass; electric guitar...those are worthless to a song that should be heard)
