Works good but there are times I have to sort of pry the CD player out. Gently of Course. $300 shipped. No trades. PayPal is the best way. I did a lot of recording on this Jewel and I’d hate to tell ya what I paid for it. A lot of fun. I think I even have the manual. Anyway, up for you consideration. You decide!! CD Player is now functioning much better thanks to Eddie Hodan. Thanks a million man.

I have the original model and recorded a lot of stuff on it. I think I paid about $1300 CDN for mine but that was many years ago and it still runs perfect. Great machine. _________________ I don't know much but what I know I know very well.

Charlie, I'm astounded that this thing is stil sitting here. I paid about what you paid and it works flawlessly. Only problem is the CD player get a bet sticky. It won't open all the time on its own. I use a thin blade screw driver and am able to so of gentle pry it to come out. I've babied this thing cuz I loved it so much and recorded a ton of stuff on it. I sure wish I could have bought this for $250. But time moves on and prices diminish I suppose. Still the big picture is this thing does a lot of stuff for $250. Going on flea bay or reverb next. I thought this was a seriously good dead. I even have the manual. |

Barry,
Most all CD devices I have ever seen have a small hole in the front. Straighten out a paper clip and gently press it straight into the hole and the tray will release. This works even with power off.

I never used the CD drive. I always transfer everything through USB into my computer for finishing. _________________ I don't know much but what I know I know very well.

Either way for 300 bucks this is a seriously good deal. This thing does a lot of stuff.

Eddie, Thanks for the tip on the small hole. It was so small I didn't think a paperclick would work, But< it did. Again thatk so much. Seems to work by doing that. Dang thing drove me crazy for 3 or 4 years now. |
