My daughter is planning a get together on Saturday June 5 at her home in Longview . She will be celebrating her 60th year Birthday , her brother will be celebrating his 50th year Birthday , and I turned 80 this year so this will be special for them {us , having all my kids together} and she wants a little music . When I'm involved , it MUST be traditional . I'll cover the bass so looking for pedal steel , lead guitar or fiddle hopefully with some vocal ability , and a drummer who'll play brushes on a snare and either no bass drum or use a cajon .
You won't get rich , rather just a stipend to cover gas expense and we'll feed you {gourmet Mexican}. She'd like to schedule the music from 2 pm till around 5 , 5:30, or 6.
That would allow you to make your Sat nite gig . Please respond with any ideas you may have
