I would like to sell my Fender Champ Lap Steel. I don’t have any idea what year it was made or the average value. Any help you guys offer would be greatly appreciated.

Judging by the logo, I'd say late 60s or 70s.
The good news is that, unlike "regular" guitars, the age has very little bearing on their value. Prices are all over the place - probably best looking through recent sold listings on Ebay and on this forum for a ball park figure.
Does it have its original case? That might be a more accurate way of dating it. Also, pot codes would give a clue. I don't think you'll find a date written in it anywhere.
Looks nice though. The missing bridge cover and if it doesn't have the original case will nocj a few $ off. |
