Does anyone know how I might get a technical manual for an Excel S10 PSG? _________________ Scott W. Anderson |

I'm not sure there is such a thing. There have been many changes of detail over the years, continuous development being the Japanese way. The only feature that's unique to Excel is the string-clamping mechanism and that's covered online. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I"m convinced that every Excel that Mitsuo makes is unique.
There is no manual, per se. If you have some specific questions, I"m sure we can help you out. They're pretty easy to work on, all the general all pump things apply. |

I need several parts to restore an older excel model. Does anyone stock them or do I need to ask the factory in Japan? _________________ Scott W. Anderson |

To restore this older model I need several nylon parts: the tuning collars at the endplate, and the roller inserts that the rods attach to on the bell crank. Can anyone help me find these things? _________________ Scott W. Anderson |

Check w/ Jim Palenscar. A tall birdie once told me that he acquired the cache of Excel parts that Scotty’s had as inventory. _________________ Excel Superb D10, Sarno Black Box or Freeloader, Goodrich L120, Boss DD5, Baby Bloomer, 1965 Super Reverb chopped to a head, feeding a mystery PA cab w/ a K130.
They say "thats how it goes". I say "that ain't the way it stays!" |
