I'd appreciate any suggestions on figuring out the counterpoint lick in the PSG solo that begins at 2:04 in "The Cost of Living" by Don Henley. Thanks!

I'm really bad at identifying where on the guitar something is played -- I've got this contrary motion lick in the 3 inversion positions but I believe this is where it's being played.

L is a split-tuned full step lower

Tab:

 3---------------------------------------------------
 4-------------------9-------------------------------
 5-------9A---10A------------------------------------
 6-------9B---10BL---9BL-----------------------------
 7---------------------------------------------------
 8---------------------------------------------------

Do you Lowe 5 on your guitar?
The song is in f#. That walk down is on fret 7, strings 4&5 with e lowered then slide back to 6, release e lower and raise e and slide back to 5.
