I like the color combination of the Blond Twin, but will it work as good for a Steel as the Black Twin? The BlackTwin has 100 watt Jensens and the Blond Twin 60 watt Cream Backs. Are the 2 amps the same head or the different circuits. I hope somebody had a chance too compare them. Thanks. Jim

James,

The only real difference between the two is the speakers and cabinet IRs (impulse responses). The black version has Jensen neo speakers and they sound more traditional and the blonde has Celestion neo creamback speakers which sound a bit more modern.

The black one has IRs of the cabinet with a Shure SM57 and Royer 121. The blonde is the Shure 57 and Sennheiser MD421 mics.

Hope this helps, Rick
