Curiosity of course. I do not know the serial number nor the build year, so that's probably going to be a killer.

I bought a used Emmons P/P basketweave from an individual here in Louisville about 1982 or so. It was a D10 with 10 pedals and 6 knees factory Emmons set up. I put 705's in both necks. When I started Universals in 1990, I sold the guitar and original Emmons pickups to Dave Haynes here in Louisville. I'm sure he sold it for a nice profit as I sold it cheap. Dave has since passed on and I never thought to ask him about it prior. Someone else told me they thought he sold it to someone in Nashville.

I played it for about 10 yrs. and often wonder what happened to it.

It was nothing special except for the basketweave finish. It was a cuttail with dark brown knees, button style Klusons and no fat back. Unique finish...not too many of them around.

I guess I didn't know what I had at the time, how rare they were and how desirable they would come to be. At the time, I thought that mica was sorta funky.

If you know anything about it, I'd enjoy knowing where it ended up.

Russ Pahl also played a basketweave back in the previous century:

Rather nondescript instrument save for the mica. I had hair....and a waistline...

Still curious. I know that Cookie Jones played a basket weave D10 and he used lots of pedals and knees. I saw some pics of him at the NTSGA playing it. Wondering if this is the one he played around Nashville in the 90s, early 00s?

OK. I thought he played a P/P basketweave also. I saw him play the LeGrande down on Broadway a time or two but never got close enough to see the deck.

I have a beautifully rebuilt basketweave U12 (in Georgia) I might consider selling or trading.
