Been a no shoe player for 40 years. Here's a tip for playing without shoes. My old left foot is getting a little tender when rocking on the "A" pedal. I cut a finger off my old leather welding glove and slipped it over my "A" pedal. When the foot gets a little cold I use a heating pad.

Great idea! I'm a shoeless player too and wrapped my wife's tennis socks around the cast iron monsters on my Fender 400. My Mullen G2 is setup with such a light touch I don't need to wrap the pedals Winking

Many Emmons push-pulls have smooth pedals. I play mine about half the time barefoot!
