A while back I acquired a home-built D8 console that turned out to have a lot of problems, so I decided to pretty much re-build it. Almost done - I will post before and afters pretty soon.

The cast aluminum peg heads (photo below) were loaded with Kluson "no-line" tuners that were made from 1953 to 1956, so I suspect the whole units were lifted from a '50s instrument. I'm wondering which steel guitar manufacturers would have been using those peg heads in the '50s.
