Melissa at Jeffran has this available. I have copies of the Booklet, DVD, and CD. They are well worth the cost. I suggest getting the entire set. She has them listed separately. If you buy the book, you don't just get the DVD or CD. At least that is what happened to me.

Larry,
There was a listing on Jeffran College whereby you could order any of your VHS tapes that you purchased , and buy them on dvd.....B0b had made mention not to order anything from Jeffran College at one time as people were not getting what they paid for...Now, who ever bought vhs tapes either have them in good shape or not good shape as the tape degrades.....I’m sure that those in the know made dvd’s out of their vhs tapes to preserve the material.....This material is now long gone if nobody says that they have it...It was a wonderful tape that describes in laymans terms how to get started on a Universal Steel using a simple copedant.....Jim

Ps.....maybe B0b can chime in on whether or not it’s safe to buy now from Jeffran College

I’m beginning to see what the confusion is here.....There were 2 different offerings

1) The universal E9th course
Which included a dvd, a book , and cd

2) The 12 string E9th/B6th Universal Tuning DVD
Which is a Dvd only......THIS is the one that I’m looking for.....Thanks, Jim

This is what I was trying to tell you, and find out what you wanted. From your information, I went from what I understood, and you needed the CD, of which I sent to you.

Hi Jim,
If you look through EVERY message that I sent to you, I mentioned DVD....not CD..... I also copied the description of the DVD word for word from the Jeffran College site and started that message with “just to be clear” this was the DVD that I needed ....I looked back at every message to make sure that you knew what I was talking about.....I appreciate your reaching out and sending me a CD, but it’s useless to me, and I will send it back to you....It appears that the course that you have is the one that Gary Watkins who is in this thread is looking for....Thanks, Jim

If you have been considering going to a single 12 universal tuning, or if you have one and you’re still a little confused about what everything does on this tuning, then this DVD will help. Jeff explains in detail how this tuning works, how to analyze the E9th parts and then the B6th/C6th side. He shows you on the DVD exactly what each pedal does, what chords it makes and how you will probably see them all used at one time or another. This video course should take some of the mystery out of this tuning. If you aren’t playing the universal yet, it will convince you of how practical it all is. Jeff shows you how you can play everything you now play on a double neck on the 12-string universal without much effort at all.

Hi Jim,
Just to clarify....This is the dvd that I’m looking for....Thanks, Jim

I have six complete copies. When I sold my first U-12, I let my course go with it. I said if I ever got another, I would never let my course go again. I a three month time, I bought two U-12, so I bought three complete course from Melissa. They were all incomplete. I had to use one of my old ones, to make copies of missing pages. I then made a few extra copies just in case, along with DVD's and CD's.

See if I can clarify the Universal Lessons. Melissa can be reached at present, JeffranCollege, The Universal Lesson, is two part. If you buy the Book, that is what you get, no DVD/CD, Just the Book, which in it's self is very informative alone. The there is the DVD/CD which are separate items, you buy them with the book, or by themselves. They DO NOT come with the Book. When Jeff was alive, he sold the DVD/CD with the book, but not anymore, not sure why, but that is the way it is done, I would make it a package deal, but I don't own it. Anyway, it is a great lesson, and course. Hope this clears it up.
