Convert a cut tail to a wrap around?

just wondering how close it would get to the magic by putting a wrap around neck on a cut tail. there must be much more to it. probably not an original neck but a custom made for the cut tail dimensions if needed.

I've seen a few of these and never a good one. Among other things the cabinet and changers on wraps are different too. There are a lot more variations in wraps than cut tails as well. Someone brought me a wrap a while back that they thought was a frankenstein and aside from minor stuff like some cranks & 1/2 stops, it was original-some folks have all the luck.

I doubt you’d notice any difference, really. There’s a lot more going on there than the necks.
