John Call( Pure Prairie League) told me that he went direct into a Neve console on a lot of their stuff. Sho Bud Pro 111 with original single coil pickups into that console. I love the tone he got!!!!

I spent my first two decades in the biz as a recording engineer on Rupert Neve's consoles. I met him at the 1984 Audio Engineering Society convention in New York. Beside a fantastic designer he was also a nice gentleman. I actually own a small mixer made by him.

RIP Rupert Neve.
