He Reso-buds, I'm doing a series of classes on lap style in open D and open G. And one on bottleneck slide that is kind of beginner-ish and for folks that may be interested in the style but haven't quite dived in yet. This is sponsored by the Menucha Retreat Center in Oregon. They put on several in person music workshops in normal times, but have developed an online series for our current time. Go here for all the details and full class descriptions. If you have any questions about it, of course we can talk here...oj

Having taken several classes from Orville Johnson at Resosummit in Nashville, I can recommend anything he's teaching. He does a great job explaining the mysteries of the steel guitar.

Orville is a fantastic player, and I'll bet a great teacher. Good luck with the seminar, OJ!
