Hi I have a pickup which I assume to be an Eon - it is unmarked (other than "George L's") and measures 17.15K, but it also has two small threaded posts sticking out of the bottom with nuts on them. Not sure if this is an optional feature for steels that use a mounting plate? Or does this indicate it is some other pickup model? I think I had a 12-1 once that had these on them. . .

Thanks!

I had an EON that was clearly marked. GeorgeLs 10-1 pickups do not have a model designation stamped on them. According to GeorgeLs specs, EON and E66 pickups are 17.5 Ohms, and 10-1s are 19.5 Ohms. There are often variations depending upon the individual pickup and signal chain, but all things being equal, there 2 Ohm variance for the same model pickup is probably a little unusual. Is it possible that the model stamp is worn off of yours?

I've seen some pictures of EON's for sale here that weren't marked. The DC resistance does measure about right for it.
