I define split cases as a separate case for the legs and pedal bar and a case for the body

Split Cases used to mean the trucker had dropped it off the truck & it had split wide open Then it was wrapped with duct tape & wire...

Like Roy said, Split means different things to different folks...

I too have always considered "split cases" as a two piece set, one for the guitar and the other for the legs, pedal bar and pedal rods.

First "split case" set I had was a Fender 2000. It came with factory two piece case set.

been slow going but finally got to take pictures on one case.
the measurements are exact so you would have to allow 1/4" each side to make sure your guitar will fit. the stops can be moved around and you can change to your needed dimensions.
inside length: 34"
inside width: 11 1/2"
leg/pedal board length: 34"
leg/pedal board width: 3 1/4"
right stop: 2" from bottom
left stop: 2" from bottom
depth of bottom: 3 3/4"
depth of top: 2 1/2"
lid stops: 1 3/4"
this would accommodated a 5 1/2" cabinet

the cases he has are made by other parties for his guitar size.
i do not have measurements of any guitars, i just was a machinist for him in my spare time.
if you send exact measurements, i can see what he has that can accommodate. the stops can be moved around.
i will post other cases when time permits. sorry for the delay, tooooo many irons in the fire.

Hi Roy,
That tweed case looks like it will fit my Emmons push pull. What would you take for it?
Thx, Pat
