Hello all,

Thinking of trying a Telonics X10 pickup in my Carter SD-10, to better eq the relative string volumes. Currently has a 705.

I contacted them and they stated that the pickup well must be 4.06" top to bottom and 1.825" across... the across is no big deal (it's 1-7/8") but I cannot measure the 4.06" --- it is too close to call. Looks like 4" on the nose, but who can eyeball 0.06"?

Has anyone had this issue? What was the resolution? Hate to miss out on this because of 0.06"...

Thanks!

0.06 is 1/16 of an inch. You should be able to see that much.

Alas, it is more than an inch but less than 1/16"... that much I can see. It's so close I don't want to risk ordering it if it won't fit.
