Haven’t seen any for sale in a while. The the guitar is in great shape and sounds like a 66 metal neck bolt on. Stays in tune as good as my other guitars. Its an invoice guitar with a nice case. D10. 8&5 . Emmons set up with E’s on the left. Older Mike Cass rebuild. Front mica was replaced by Mike. I should have pics up soon.. $5500

I’m entertaining a few offers. I’m putting it on hold for now. Thanks

For me, these are the best sounding Emmons ever made. For instance:

I've got two of them...

Oh that’s cool Tom! I always assumed this clip was a wraparound, but now that you mention it, it’s clearly a bolt on. Very cool! I’ve got two of them as well. The best.

Yessir that's buddy on a 65 bolt on (wrap body bolt on they sound a little sweeter than a regular bolt on)

There's only one footage that exist of buddy playing a wrap that we know of its bird of paradise by little jimmy dickens (there's no close up of the solo. There is another one where he's doing the same song and has a wood neck guitar. Which emmons only made a couple of those #7 and 8 (maybe 9 and 10 which I own number 10 and 9 is in England and these two are rumored to originaly be wood neck guitars due to the W in the serial number and now are both wrap arounds ) so it could be any one of those. The wrap buddy is playing I'm not sure if its a early wrap which he had a couple of them is used #2 (the first one ) as well as #17 (Dave robbins guitar ) there may have been others or it could be the wagon (65 wrap ) ? There is some awesome wagon footage with dickey overbey playing with faaron young on youtube .

Anyhow there's a novel for y'all to read.

These bolt ons are awesome guitar I have a 66 myself that I love.

Here's Buddy on that wood-neck wrap Mike mentioned:

This might be the metal-neck one Mike mentioned.
