Here's a really clean Emmons split-tail model, 1978, rosewood mica finish, 8/4, classic sound from a classic guitar!!! Very nice condition with super clean undercarriage. Comes with hard shell case. Steven, basically how the changer was part of the guitar. The three main groups of push/pulls are the first-series wraparounds, the second series boltons and last the cut tails. It's more complicated than that but that's a start... smiles

That '78 horn is in beautiful condition. I've owned quite a few Emmons "Originals" and have a '69 D-10 now that I absolutely love.

The 1978, black D-10 I had though was probably the single, best sounding guitar I ever owned. It had serious "mojo" and was actually built for me by Big Ron himself. In my opinion, '78 was a great year for Emmons Originals (push-pulls)..!!
