NEVER seen one cleaner! And that's a killer price. Whoever gets it is really lucking out.
I really like these guitars (think they're a bit under-rated).
I'm have a green single 8 (up for sale soon), but this one makes me jealous! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. No, Keith, it won't really sound like a Fender Stringmaster D8. The pickups on those produce a thinner, less robust sound. And, remember, the Stringmaster has dual pickups on both necks and a blend wheel so you can blend the neck pick up in as you like (the bridge p/u's always on). Cleverly, the pick-ups are wired with reverse polarities, so when the neck p/u is on full, you effectively have a humbucker (gang, pls. correct me if I'm wrong).
Of course you could always replace the p/us with the Seymour Duncan Stringmaster replicas (which sound killer, btw), but then your cost would be getting close to a "player" condition Stringmaster and you might as well get one of those (their made in the USA construction is significantly better). _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup.
