Up for sale is my 2017 Rayco lap steel guitar. This made in Canada guitar is in mint condition. It comes in a 23" scale and produces a powerful tone and response with impressive depth and clarity. Also included is a tweed hard shell case in excellent condition, leg bag, Deluxe 34 lap steel stand, tone bar and tuner. My asking price is $1200 (OBO) plus free shipping in lower 48. No Trades. | That is a good looking guitar Jerry. Could you tell us a little more about the hardware and wood used in it. Looks like mahogany body with with a maple top? What brand are the tuners? Also what is the retail value of one of these new? Also would like to see a close up of the top binding as to see what it is. Rayco builds a fine dobro but not familiar with their lap steels. Thanks. |

Hi Tom,
Here are a couple more pics of this guitar. The wood is called "Highly Figured Wood." You can look up the definition of that kind of wood. There is a blue Rayco lap steel on Reverb for sale just like the one I bought. I paid almost what that one is up for sale for.
