1982 Marlen All pull. $2275 at my shop here in Nashville.
Plays an sounds incredible an you can’t deny she’s beautiful.
Emmons set up.
I can say this steel came from the era of pedal steels that were known for good tone.
Just like old Buds an Emmons push Pulls this steel has the tone that will inspire you.

Ok since nobody really knows what this is; and I do.
When Leonard and Marvin came out with a "All-pull" changer very early 80's after their "pull-release" mech; they designed it and it was already far beyond anything else made(except for Paul Franklin Sr. changer); So they got the very first mechanical Patent on a Changer Design for a pedal Steel....>that is how great it is/was....And they still used PROPER aluminum changer finger tops...unlike the other crap...ha...and so this had a sound that if you had a Push-pull on one side and Sho~bud on the other side....this Marlen would blow them away sonically.....sound is AWESOME.

Did Franklin have a patent on his changer? I have never played a guitar as smooth as a Franklin and wondered why later builders didn't copy it?
