I may have posted an instrumental version of this before, but this time I felt the vocals were essential, and I just happen to be getting back into singing a bit after a long hiatus, so I redid it.

Lots of lap steel, some acoustic guitar, and double bass. This is a rocker, so if you hate Rock.... The original recording has brilliant guitar solos by Pat Metheny that are ingrained in my head, so it was a challenge to divorce myself from them.

Very cool Mike! The solo sounds very Jerry Garcia-ish to me...the lilting 1/16 note phrasing and the envelope filter.
