Ron, I'm assuming this requires the Windows version of Excel 2003? I don't think your ClicTab software ever ported to Mac, did it? _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Ron, it's probably easier to simply recommend to Mac users to run Windows in emulation through Boot Camp or Parallels, then they can run your software.
With the new M1 Macs, I don't think there's a way yet to emulate Windows, since these new speedy Macs run on Apple silicon, not Intel, but I'm sure a way will be available soon. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

do you know if Mac in Windows mode will open an executable (EXE) file? This program is compiled into an exe file. Thank you. |

I have never run into any executable that would not run on a Windows OS running on Fusion, which is my preferred way to run Windows on a Mac.
I have been using it for many many years.
I personally do not like Bootcamp, because you have to reboot. You can run MacOS and Windows simultaneously with Fusion or Parallels.
BootCamp is likely never going to be implemented with the new Apple processors, since they are not Intel, though I may be wrong.
Bootcamp runs natively on the Intel processor on the Macs that have that processor. It may be possible that an ARM version of windows could work, if Apple decides to keep BootCamp alive on the new M1 processors.
They are such jerks, I doubt that will happen. They are always killing useful apps, or making them unusable/worthless. Take iTunes.... please take it away!
I have at least 6 versions of Windows that I only run on my MacBook Pro.
I also run Linux, and other MacOS versions as well.
Older Mac software is sometimes only 32 bit, and will not run on newer MacOS's.
Very handy!
I may try your program, just to verify it working on Fusion if you like.
