I just worked on a PP last week that came in an SKB case. it was just like the 3611 they sell on their website but it was 1 inch wider. I really liked that case. I'm just talking about personal use here, me handling my own steel. Does anyone use the standard 3611 with their doubleneck steels. I have all a Franklin, Zum, and PP. Just wondering how they fit and if it's worth the gamble to buy one.

I have a couple, one earlier one that Sierra used to market and one of the newer ones that have the heavier duty TSA latches. Both have survived lots of airline flights, including international, and lots of ground tours and have had no problems. You have to have some foam cut to your guitars size, but mine fit both my Emmons and Fessenden‘a with ease.
