The head of Doxy. I have a full version I'm working on but I wanted to demonstrate the melodic possibilities of the Eharp tuning. Forgive the couple of clams, this is for teaching not performance.
People talk about the ability of the eharp tuning to play four note chords, but little is talked about the melodic possibilities . This is the head of the Sonny Rollins tune Doxy, played on just the first 3 frets of the eharp tuning

It really seems to me that the eharp is a artifact from the jazz era, where players wanted to be able to voice complex chords and melodies without crazy tone bar gymnastics.

You might consider counting off before you start a song with no accompaniment, it certainly would help me latch on to what you are doing.

I'll have a full version with backing track, head, chords, improv soon, Travis. It will make more sense then.
