Hi all.
I happen to own a JC 40 for practice/studio.
I want to know if the Fender Dlx Reverb has a sweet spot for clean lap in the same volume range than the JC 40.
or maybe de Princeton Reverb reisuue?
any opinions, suggestions?
Thanks and mahalo nui |

The Deluxe should be right in the same volume range as the Roland. |

In my experience, the Roland has a lot more clean headroom. With the Deluxe Reverb at 22 watts, the ceiling for clean headroom tops out around 5 or 6 and then gets dirty, for the Princeton Reverb even less. Question is: how loud do you need to be?
I use a JC-40 for gigging. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Hi.
I wasn't thinking how low.... I'm hoping to find an amp with a beatiful clean tone in a similar range of volume. |

I think the question "how loud" is relevant. A Fender Dlx, even at 22 watts is surprisingly loud and the reason I sold mine was a) I never needed to take it above '2' and b) the weight!
In my search for a replacement I tried a JC and found it to be too bright for my taste and I knew would never need the chorus (and I thought the reverb sucked!) But that is simply my taste.
FYI; I use a DV Little Jazz, lots of headroom, very clean and you can carry it in one hand - and it is surprisingly loud for its dimensions !!!
