Anyone have any experience with the JHS Milkman Slapback (+ boost) delay? https://www.jhspedals.info/milkman
A while back I sold off my MXR Carbon Copy, since I felt that it added a little bit of a sterile edge to things, and I was only using it to dial a little bit of slap - 1 to 3 repeats, fairly low in the mix. Given the range the Carbon Copy is capable if, that meant that if the knobs got bumped even a little it felt like I was in U2 territory.
I do miss the depth that just that little bit of delay added, though. This thing seems like just the ticket. I tend to favor one trick ponies, as it's been my experience that lots of effects can end up being jack of all trades, master of none.
Curious if anyone else has used one, and if so if you'd care to share your thoughts.
Thanks! |

Hey Barry,
I've got one here if you want to borrow it try it out. It's a nice little pedal, has a clean boost and the delay.
It can only do slapback delay, no Pink Floyd freakouts, but it is really good for fattening up a steel tone.
If you're looking to buy, I'd let you have it for $125.
Thanks,
Joe |
