Does anybody know if Mo has a steel player in his road band? He will be doing a concert 22 miles from me at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, TN on March 19. Depending on where we are at covid wise and if he has a steel player, I am interested in attending.

Every live clip of MP I've seen has Mike Johnson on steel.
Not sure if he'd be in the road band though. |

It's Eddie Lang from Minnesota. He used to come to the Eastern Iowa Steel Guitar Show when he was 16 yrs old. I think he practiced instead of dating through his teen years. We used to call him the Steel Kid. His dad sang and played bass. Nice family. He played for Bill Anderson for a while. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |

Eddie was in St Louis for a while and played locally including some of our steel shows. What an excellent player with tone to the bone. He was the highlight of our area jams. Check out his playing on Joshua Hedleys CD. Incredible stuff. |

Eddie is one of the most pleasantly unpretentious players I've ever met. And his lovely wife, Marie, is a real sweetheart. |
