Nice songs even if you (like me) don't speak French. I believe these folks are/were out of Quebec. Allmusic didn't seem to help. And no video on the YouTube. Just trying to put names to the group and the songs. Any answers?

They’re an Acadian band from New Brunswick. The information that I’ve found doesn’t list a steel player but I would imagine that it’s Andre “Coco” McGraw. Some of the musicians also play in well known bluegrass bands in this area. Richard Bourque is a monster musician and the nicest guy in the world. He plays guitar, mandolin and banjo in this band.
Laurie LeBlanc is the lead singer. His website is laurieleblanc.com.

Could it be Leo LeBlanc? Just a wild guess.

I'm told that it's either Coco McGraw or Sylvain Pouliot. Coco is from New Brunswick, Sylvain is from Quebec.

The two songs that are mentioned above both have Coco McGraw on them. Sylvain Pouliot played on later CDs. Great band. If you listen to some of the live stuff, they're a lot of fun.

Mike (Michel) Bourque might know he is from the area.

Charlie, Laurie LeBlanc's "Deconnecter" was already on my "listen" list. A catchy tune!

The words of these songs may be foreign to me, but the music is all the same language!

My French isn't all that good either. It's been a long time since high school.

They are a great band, The harmony is very tight, Classic Bluegrass harmony, Great musicians. I have watched about everything on U-Tube I can find.
They have a great stage presentation also.

I spent Aug 1962 to Aug. 1964 about 200 miles south of Paris France as a US Army C 83rd. Eng. truck driver. I spent a lot time as a lone trucker delivering construction material to job sites. Was a steep learning curve for a 19 year old kid, To be able to talk to the citizens and truck drivers to get directions some times. Had to learn quick, But 56 years is a long time to remember now.

There is a lot of words in their songs I can understand, But I lose the words to make the phrase or sentence complete.

Bon Jour
