Joey and bOb, I hope you will allow me to post this under "Electronics" as it is probably the most fitting place.

This is a repeat of a previous post. One last opportunity for you to participate.
Heck, you can even write a reply on the thread and I will copy and print for the book.

"I need help from all my musician friends. ASAP
For the past 50 plus years, there is probably not a single musician that has not been helped by Peavey Electronics. I know that every stage I see is loaded with Peavey gear.
Hartley Peavey and his staff have been there for us all and I for one am truly grateful.
Hartley Peavey is about to turn 79 years old at the end of December.
I would like to present him with a BIG NOTEBOOK of thank you notes, letters, cards or however you communicate, as a birthday present and a THANK YOU from all of us.
Would you please take a minute and jot a note to Hartley Peavey thanking him for supporting us all.
You can email to me at bferguson1947@gmail.com and I will print them out or you can mail to me at PO Box 279 Molino, FL 32577.
Letters or cards will be great.
Let’s make this BIG and have hundreds of letters. Tell all your musician friends that may not be on my list.
I have been collecting notes for about 2 months now and have hundreds, but would love to have thousands.
I need these ASAP as we plan to go to Meridian in about 10 days.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your participation.

PS: Linda and I will drive to Meridian to deliver this BIG BOX in person.
SHHHHH! This is to be a surprise."

Bill, such a wonderful gesture and a warm thanks to a music icon. I can't imagine where we would be without Peavey in our musical lives. No amp manufacturer has put more specialized products in the hands of pedal steel guitarist than Peavey. Not to mention the PA systems and the years of support at the ISGC St Louis Mo. supplying sound reinforcement and engineers. I sent my letter to you, but I wanted to publicly thank Hartley Peavey for all those wonderful years.
Thank you Mr Peavey and a very happy birthday wish.
