Larkin Poe (to whom I was introduced by this forum) has another new album out today called Kindred Spirits. Basically stripped down acoustic covers (if you can call a Rickenbacker lap steel acoustic) recorded in their home studio. Their harmonies are good as usual and the arrangements are pretty creative. Highly recommend it!

You can buy it on their site or stream most of it here:

Hi Nic,
Megan Lovell's steel playing is the reason I starting playing lap steel.
Celtic Band - Enter The Haggis - has an album out called White Lake and Megan plays a searing steel part on a song called " The Hunter and the Phantom Limb". Both sisters also produced this song for ETH. I heard that song and realized what I was missing by not learning to play music, so I bought a lap steel and have been learning to play and also learning some music theory.
